This was exactly what I was expecting. It’s not extremely heavy. I like that the wheels rotate, so that you don’t have to pull behind or push in front of you, just wheel it along as you walk. The color (purple) is vibrant. The smaller case is just the right size to hold those items you may need to keep close.

My son just bought this set and we went on a plane trip. He got compliments from several people. The small bag that fits under the seat held more than expected. Being hard it was much easier to put under the seat. No loose straps to cause anyone to trip over. The carryon was roomy and was easy to store inside the overhead bin. Highly recommended

This carryon suitcase and personal items set look great! And I love the orange color! The description is very accurate and I had no trouble taking both pieces on the plane with me. They both offer much more room than they look like they would. I was impressed by that. I tend to be an over packer so I still had to squeeze them tight to zip up - thank goodness I did not suffer failures there - the structural integrity seems quite sound. The wheels seem well built and function nicely. They are removable, too, if that is something you like to do. I suppose if you checked the bag, it would be a good idea. I do not know how the suitcase would fare if it were checked, so I cannot comment there. I will say though, even though the empty cases are not heavy, once it came time to put my over packed carry on in the overhead bin, I was challenged - the case is not large (but it is - if that makes sense). I am a female and not the strongest maybe, but (I do work out) at 5'5" and having to lift pretty high over my head, it was heavy and awkward for me to put up and take down from the overhead bins. That is no reflection on the cases, just an fyi (and a reflection of weight when too much stuff is stuffed in it! Sorry I do not have a weight to offer). The personal case fits very nicely under the seat. I took one star off only because when you're hurrying to move forward over the various floor connectors, escalators, etc the stability isn't great when you have the personal case attached. I found that if I did not cross "rocky terrain" deliberately and slowly, the suitcase easily tilted which would cause the personal case to slide off to the side which upset the otherwise nice balance. Once the balance went, I was ultimately forced to step aside several times. Also, when moving at crowd pace (or even in a no rush situation) and you come to a step of any sort, there is no easy way to lift the set up as a single unit. That same awkward balance comes in to play because, unless the set is standing perfectly plumb, the attached personal case slides off to the sides which upsets the balance. The personal case does come with a strong elastic strap which is nice as long as the rolling surface is pristine and all 4 casters are on the floor, but in "tilty" situations, the strap doesn't provide a strong enough hold to keep the personal case in place. Maybe the design is not meant for the elastic strap to provide anything other than to be a handy feature, but being there, I looked to it to provide more. If the personal case had 2 wider - one on each end - or 3 straps spaced out along the side (where the one is), offering more points of attachment along the handle shaft, that may work better - I don't know - I just know there must be a better engineering design for what I see as a shortfall. Next time, I may try adding self stick hook and loop to the ends of the 2 pieces of luggage - or work up some kind of system that will, in conjunction with the elastic strap, provide a tight hold, but at the same time allow for simple "on and off" (as the elastic strap is intended to do, and does). Other than that soap box rant, I like the cases and they seem to be priced well for the overall quality.

Such a great purchase. I love how this set looks. So much space, such a great value for your money, great quality, wheels roll easily and the built in lock is magnificent! Overall, such a great purchase
