I ended up returning this because the pictures make it appear smaller. I was so excited for this, but I don’t know what I was thinking when I missed the description showing it can take one gallon! This is a beautifully simplistic, minimalist design and I love it, and would HAPPILY buy a model more in line with the size of their XL 3-in-1 (or smaller) for my nightstand. That being said, the top fill design is simple and genius, I just wish there was a way to direct the mist forward, instead of just straight up. I really appreciate this product and the design team that created it!

Love it. This is my second purchase if this humidifier. Instead of carrying a dripping water reservoir to the faucet, carry a carafe of water to the humidifier, lift off the top and pour in. On and choice of humidity all controlled with the on switch on a four touches loop. I got used to it quickly. Timer for 2, 4, or 6 hours and easy to initiate. Expensive but worth it for me.

I only wanted to repurchase this particular humidifier. The only reason I had to reorder was due to an unfortunate incident at my apartment building. I love this product!

I was told by a different humidifier manufacturer, that if the water mist contacts surfaces, it lowers the level of humidifying. That is not a problem with the Pure Enrichment Hume Max. The water mist stays in the air. The humidity in the room today (about 160 sq ft) went from 30% to 35% in 3 hours, running at medium setting. Very quiet and because it is just humidifying, the instructions for cleaning, about the same as for an oil diffuser. Probably just a simple soap and water. I am using Britta filtered water. I don't expect much calcification issue, but the instruction say just use vinegar for calcified deposits. The unit is just three parts, base, water tank, cover.

I just received the Pure Hume Max humidified from amazon and loved it! Before purchasing Pure Hume Max, I already have a Pure MistAire but there are a couple of things I am satisfied with MistAire: 1. Refilling water isn't convenient enough and sometimes it can be twisted too tight to open 2. It runs about 8-10 hours maximum and had to be refilled frequently 3. The mist output rate and coverage aren't sufficient for my need. I live in Chicago and it's extremely dry in the Winter. My room RH is around 32% and the humidified can only get it up to 38%-40%. I think I need RH close to 50% to alleviate some discomfort during sleeping like dry lips, dry throat, and nasal congestion. Thus I did a bit of research on humidifiers and think Hume Max will solve my problem. I got the Hume Max today and I am very happy with it: 1. Top filling is great and convenient 2. Love that it can hold enough water for running up to 30 hours 3. I'm using it for a baby nursery as I'm expecting. Having a satisfying humidifier really lessened my worry about newborn skin problems 4. The product is well designed and fits our home decor style, the night light is sleek and provides just enough illuminance 5. The Last thing I'm hoping to improve is to add a decalcification filter. I heard the ultrasonic humidifier can disperse minerals into the air and I'm worried it may be bad for a newborn. Chicago has hard water (hardness of approximately 8 grains per gallon) and I think I should get a decalcification filter.
