Around the time Opus got his salad shooter, my dad found one at a rummage and gave it to me.. I used it for years until the pusher broke and my husband made a new wood one. Then the cylinder cracked, and I bought my first one. The cylinder on that eventually cracked, and I bought a 2nd one. After about 10 months, I noticed the cylinder starting to crack, and it is now cracked, and I have ordered 2 replacement parts. I have truly loved this machine from the getgo, and use it mostly for cheese and carrots and bread. The cheese is not easy to clean, sticks pretty tight to all parts, carrots and bread are much easier to clean. Would give it a 5-star except for the repeated cracking.

I couldn’t love this thing more! It makes grating cheeses and thin slicing vegetables an absolute joy and speedy breeze. Cleanup is effortless, just pop all the attachments in the top rack of your dishwasher. Easy peasy! You need this in your life. Trust me.
