The filter worked as anticipated. It definitely delivered a “cleaner” tasting water than the filter I previously used (PUR). The pitcher was also aesthetically pleasing. BUT after only TWO weeks of using the filter, I started noticing a plastic taste to my water. That’s when I realized that the reader had begun showing up “1” instead of “0”. While the manual instructs you to change once it reaches 6, I found the taste after 0 to be pretty unbearable and so clearly different from not just what you’d get from Zerowater but just drinking water overall. I will also say that the water quality quickly began to deteriorate after it went beyond 1 TDS. Within just 1 week, my water TDS read 10. I know of others who use the same filter and have not had to change theirs as quickly. Based on this, I suspect that my issues are primarily due to the water quality of where I live– which is ironically purported to deliver good quality drinking water (Harlem, New York City). The attached photo is the reading of water directly from the tap. Four stars– because the cost of the filters is just too high to be sustainable for where I’m based + the taste of the water after 0 is just so dramatically different and off-putting.

This filter makes my tap water so delicious that i actually *want* to drink it plain. You have no idea how shocking this statement is, coming from someone who until now has had the water-avoiding tendencies of a rabid raccoon. The filtered water from this gizmo has zero taste and a “softer” texture than untreated water, somehow. The pitcher itself is really well-designed too, with an ingenious little flap that makes it easy to fill. The reservoir is plenty roomy, and the filtration itself is faster than other methods i’ve tried. I also love that it doesn’t require electricity or waste a ton of water like some reverse-osmosis systems. Have only had it for two weeks so can’t speak to the filter lifespan yet. But hope it lasts a while, because the only bummer to this system will be having to throw the filter in the trash.

This water purification system is fantastic. The water taste so good and it is very attractive on the counter. Super thick glass and great instruction for inital set up. Large volume of water that works for cooking and drinking. It is on the big side of dispensers but one of the nicest looking ones I have seen. Expensive but worth it!

My bottled water and facet water especially was -100’s. DEFINITELY worth the money. You can pop out the water measure thingy and test other liquids. Then it easily pops back in. Small slide door on top to add water. Easy spout-no leaking. Great tasting. I use this water to also make our ice. No more lugging heavy cases of water. Yayy! The cost of the new filter is STILL far cheaper than the amount of water we were buying (average 2 cases per week-And we bought name brand) Wonderful made. Thank you smart people lol.

Weirdly it is starting to read higher in bad water quality after only having it for a month. So the filter has to be replaced maybe every 2 months. But it does a good job at cleaning the water and the water taste like bottled water not sink water

This is the second fluoride water filter I tried. This is by far the better of the two filters. The first one lasted 5 days and the filter quit. Shaking it did nothing. The water tester was a joke since it never came in contact with the water. The Culligan filter tested the water before using. Tap water = 186 ppm, the refrigerator filter + 164ppm. The Culligan filtered water =0. Easy to fill and use. A great filter.
