I bought this to replace a two slice toaster we had. Nice features. Particularly like the “cancel” function so you can pop stuff up without jamming the mechanism. Also like that each two slice side has separate adjustments for “toastiness.” Slots are wide enough to accommodate bagels and thick sliced homemade bread. My roommate called it a spaceship! It does have a rather large footprint, but the convenience of toasting everyone’s bread at the same time is very nice.

I bought this Hamilton Beach Toaster for more than one reason. First, the toaster we have now is on the way out. We're starting to have problems with it. The shading of the toast is off. Second, the toaster that we have now is also a Hamilton Beach. Our toaster has lasted for 35yrs. Believe it or not!!! Up until now, we never had a problem with our toaster and we used it as a family of four!!! This is the reason we bought another Hamilton Beach Toaster. The old one served it's purpose all of these years and it's almost identical to the new one that we just got. We love it!!! 💜

I had to recently replace a toaster I have had forever, and was not to happy. I loved that toaster!! I was a little worried about finding one I would like as much. I found one I like better in this one. It has a great design and it works wonderfully. It is affordable and the quality is wonderful!

I had previously got a “top rated” 2 slice toaster that blows. This toaster is GREAT! Has a little guide to remind you which side of the bagel goes out vs in, and warms the rounded side while toasting the cut side. This toasts BOTH sides of toast, is easy to use, easy to clean and I love the extra “lift” that’s available with the handle - no trying to reach in to get it a out, the handle gives you over an extra inch.

We had a toaster similar this one for YEARS. About 4 months ago the left side would no longer stay down. If you held it the elements would stay lit, but it would not stay down by itself. We ordered this one. The first one came in, we plugged it in and pushed the left handle down. It would not stay down. We tried the right side, which functioned normally. I went on the Amazon and requested to return the toaster for a new one. No problems, no worries. They sent me a return shipping label as usual. As soon as I returned it to the UPS Store, they sent me a notification that a new one was on its way even before I got back into my house. We received the second one a few days ago and have been using it since. Great service from Amazon! So far so good. The new one is slightly smaller in size and weight but it works great. Toasts bread evenly on both sides. And the lift handle lifts english muffins high enough that you don't burn your fingers when you try to get them out. If the new one works as well as the old one did, it will be YEARS before we need a new one. It's been over a week and it is working the way it is supposed to, making evenly toasted bread, bagels, muffins etc. I would have given it 5 stars if the first one hadn't come in DOA on the left side. But I do give Amazon 5 stars for standing behind the sale. We've had the toaster now for 2 1/2 months. It still is working fine. The one thing my wife and I have both dislike about the toaster is that Hamilton Beach moved the crumb tray access to the rear of the toaster.
