This has been a good tent. It's easy to set up, isn't to hard to roll back up into its bag. It has yet to leak on me. The zippers have held up over time. Without the heavy wind this tent would last a long time. I have camped in some heavy rains, these poles do bend in the wind. The carbon poles have actually started to split at the seams. The fabric still looks new, the poles have just been over stressed. I have also used it enough tye zipper on the storage bag is broken.

I've had the 7' x 9', 4-person (always cut that number in half, BTW!) for 7 years now. I use it about a half-dozen times a year or so for 3 to 5 nights each time, so I'm guessing over 150 nights so far. As everyone says, easy setup, nice gear pockets, etc. This tent has withstood some incredible storms, from light rain to deluges, and even some horizontal rain & high winds. Of course there will be a little water coming in from horizontal rain, but it was minimal, and that rarely happens. Even with the normal HEAVY downpours and strong winds, there was no leakage. However, after 7 years I may have to replace it. It is still in good shape, but over time, for some reason, sometimes the rainfly will sag and contact the screen ceiling, and water will drip from that contact area. It can be a lot in a heavy rain. But that is the only place. I am experimenting with taking up the slack in the rainfly's elastic attachment bands. After 7 seasons, they're a little stretched out, so that may be the problem. I'm trying other things, too, like varying the length/angle of the fly's guy lines. We'll see. I'm going to order another identical tent since this type has held up impressively. I'll keep futzing with the old one, and even if I can't solve the problem of the sagging fly/screen contact, it will still be a great dry-weather extra tent. I can fit a queen air mattress, my 65# dog, luggage, and some gear inside. Last year I upgraded to a cot & I like that. Be sure to put a heavy-duty tarp under the tent floor to reduce abrasion/wear & tear from the ground. I asked Coleman for input on my issue, and they were very responsive and helpful.

Great Tent. Easy to put up and take down. Zippers work well, just watch the cover flap. Got caught in a massive thunderstorm and the tent was dry as a bone. Fit's a queen size blow up mattress but it takes up the entire tent. Not good for anyone over 5'10" as I was touching on both sides. Airflow is decent but it was super hot and humid so I can say this is not a hot weather camping tent. Great for warm, cool, and cold maybe but it was super hot in our tent because the windows are on the small side but the trade off is that it is very water resistant. used a fan and that helped enough to let me sleep but I was still covered in sweet. (The others in our party were fine).

I recently had the opportunity to test out the Coleman Sundome 2-Person Tent during a weekend camping trip, and I was thoroughly impressed with its performance and features. This tent is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-set-up shelter for two people, especially for those of us who enjoy motorcycle camping. First and foremost, the setup process was incredibly straightforward. The color-coded poles and simple design allowed me to pitch the tent in just a matter of minutes, even as the sun began to set. The tent's compact size makes it perfect for backpacking or car camping, and it packs down nicely into a manageable carry bag that fits perfectly on my motorcycle. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it stowed away in my saddlebags, leaving ample room for my other gear. One of the standout features of the Sundome is its weather resistance. The tent is equipped with Coleman's patented WeatherTec system, which includes patented welded floors and inverted seams to help keep water out. During a brief rain shower, I was pleased to find that the interior remained dry and comfortable, allowing us to enjoy our camping experience without worry. The ventilation in the tent is also commendable. With large windows and a ground vent, airflow was excellent, preventing condensation buildup and keeping the interior fresh. The spacious design comfortably accommodated two adults, with enough room for gear storage as well. As a motorcyclist, I particularly appreciated how lightweight and compact the Sundome is. It’s easy to strap onto my bike, and I didn’t feel like I was sacrificing space or weight for quality. On the road, I often find myself needing to set up camp quickly, and this tent’s user-friendly design made it a breeze to pitch after a long day of riding. Additionally, the tent's durable materials and sturdy construction give me confidence in its longevity. The fabric feels robust, and the poles are strong enough to withstand moderate winds. I appreciate that Coleman has designed this tent with both comfort and durability in mind, making it a reliable companion for my motorcycle adventures. Overall, I highly recommend the Coleman Sundome 2-Person Tent to anyone seeking a reliable and user-friendly camping solution, especially for motorcycle trips. It strikes a perfect balance between affordability and quality, making it an excellent investment for both novice and experienced campers alike. Whether you're heading out for a weekend getaway or a longer adventure, this tent is sure to meet your needs and enhance your outdoor experience.

Good solid tent for the price! I got the 3person version. Pros: - Survived 30mph dust storm in the desert (used MSR-style stakes and some of the included ones) - excellent quality - easy to put together - an 8x10 cheap tarp makes a perfect footprint - fits in checked luggage nicely for air trips Cons: - a Twin intex 10” air mattress just barely fits sideways, anyone over 6’ tall will touch their head or feet on the tent (I turned it diagonal and made it work!) - the Velcro ties on the rain fly are annoying to attach, but also not required - the doorway with the overhanging fly is quite a low squat for me (6’1”) the overall height is fine but a different doorway shape would be nice
