Nice kit, easy to install
Nice kit, easy to install. Since I mulch the majority of the time I installed the plug and removed the chute. The blades perhaps are a little lighter gauge of steel than I expected however it works fine on my lawn.

Design a Steel Chute Blocker
Product arrived shortly after ordering it. No problem installing the blades and they cut well. However, you do not get good performance with the plug installed. It leaves clumps of grass that you have to recut multiple time to chop up. The plug itself is hard to put on and take of. You don't have to be super strong to put this thing on, but it doesn't lineup properly with out force. I like Cub Cadet products and would like to see them come up with a steel chute blocker (like a flap) that can mount to the deck, spring loaded with a handle that can be open and closed on the fly. Sometimes you want to cut and throw clippings in the open, but close the chute when you get closer to the house or car. Noone likes to throw grass clippings all over your ride when cutting the lawn, then have to rewash your truck because you cant block the chute.
