I love this pan! It has held up to frequent use nicely. It's very sturdy and well made. It works great for eggs, frying, and pan searing. It also cleans easily. Very sturdy and durable. It's not super heavy either, so it is easy to move as needed. I would recommend!

Before recently, I had an *extremely expensive* non-stick set that I bought at Macy's (for full price). However, nobody likes scrubbing pots & pans. If you use this pan correctly, which is a very important caviat, this brand will stand the test of time and always come out as #1. It honestly just takes some getting used to if you have only had Teflon because you have to treat it completely differently than you have probably been told in the past.

Heats up fast and creates an even heated surface. Definitely a learning curve when switching from traditional non-stick coated pans. Stainless requires heating up the pan and cooking at lower temperatures since the pan retains the heat. No discoloration at this point, easy to clean.

At first I was wondering because is small but it became my breakfast pan, 4 eggs fit nicely in it, good option for single people or couples, also storaging is a plus too. Is very strong and feels heavy, nicely made.

If you're looking for quality stainless steel cookware, this frying pan delivers. Safer and healthier than using non-stick skillets. Haven't had any issues with discoloration yet. Most important of all, heats up quick, and there's better heat distribution than you'd get with non-stick pans. It's got a steel double-riveted handle, which requires more care cleaning than a welded one, but it's very durable. But much better than a screwed-on handle, plus it stays cool while you're cooking. Only time I've needed to slip an oven mitt on, is if I'm taking it out of the oven, if I'm finishing something in it. Also, I'm not sure why they don't mention it in the product info, but the rim to the pan is flared. Which means you wont get accidental drips when pouring sauce or gravy out of the pan, like with most frying pans. I've made an entree or two with it, mostly I use it for sauces, and homemade gravy using drippings from breakfast sausage or roasted chicken. I'm tempted to see how well the pan does with searing, but I prefer using my cast iron for reverse-searing (cooking steak at a low heat and then searing it once it hits the right temp until I get a maillard reaction). BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY USE THIS FRYING PAN: If you normally cook with pans that have a non-stick surface, please take the time to learn about stainless steel cooking before you use this particular pan. You can find tips and suggestions online. Because stainless steel is a totally different beast than non-stick. Use lower heats with this pan than you'd typically use for non-stick. Even though the actual heat distribution across the pan is great, this particular frying pan will get much hotter (much quicker) than the non-stick ones you're used to. You're going to need to know how to cook with oil properly, unless you want food sticking. I say all this, because without fail, someone buys a stainless steel pan and tries to cook with it like they would a non-stick one. Then they'll leave a one-star review, describing how they have fried egg stuck to the pan that they can't get off. So unless you want to do a lot of soaking and scrubbing the pan with vinegar and baking soda, don't break it in by trying to fry food exactly as you would with your other pans. Despite this being a name brand stainless steel pan, it's still not as expensive as the Cuisinart ones. But it's every bit as good as the Cuisinart stainless steel I've used in the past. The packaging for it is simple but nice. Just the fact that it's a Rachael Ray makes it super giftable. But if you buy this as a gift for someone, they need to know how to cook with stainless steel. End of the day, nothing beats using cookware that won't flake off weird chemical coatings into your food by accident, so it's a great frying pan to invest in. Ill update my review if I do decide to start pan-searing my beef or tuna with it. In the meantime, your next move is to add it to your shopping cart, and then check out.
