I got this pan for meal prepping to make very large meals for an entire week at a time and it works great. Heavy duty and solid, no warping so far and when I keep it clean it looks and works exactly the same now as it did when I bought it almost a year ago. Can take a while to heat which is to be expected, but once it's hot it retains heat very well. Large enough to cook at least a weeks worth a of a meal. My only negative is that the pan is quite heavy and the handle is thin and an odd shape so if you aren't very strong or if you have hand mobility issues you will have to use both handles to move it around.

I'm newish to using stainless pans but I loved the size and shape of this one and decided to give it a shot. I am so glad I did! It's the perfect size for almost any one pot meal. I've made spaghetti, fried several chicken breasts, made 4 pancakes at a time, and it's been perfect for all. The heat conduction is fantastic and if you keep it on medium low it will serve you well. Once it's heated up food cooks fairly quickly and I haven't had any issues with overheating or burning. If you are someone who needs to cook for multiple people or meal preps this is a fantastic pan and a great deal.

I had my doubts when I initially bought it because of some the negative reviews. They kept mentioning how it warped on them. I've been using it for the past 8 months and it's been going great. The pan cooks evenly and is well built. It has solid build quality. This comes in really handy when cooking big quantities of food for meal prep. I high recommend you buy this saute pan.

In 2003 we bought an entire set of Cuisinart stainless steel pots and pans. They ended up being the best we have even owned and we still use them today. Outstanding heat distribution, durability and easy of cleaning. No matter what we cooked in them we could easily clean them; rinsing them out, adding about an inch of water and a tablespoon of salt, bring the water to a boil and then let it cool. After that it really only took a quick wipe with a soapy sponge, cold water rinse, drip dry and it was good as new. After over 15 years of reliable use I mistakenly forgot about the pan while boiling the water to clean it and it boiled dry and started smoking. Without thinking I ran water over the pan and that severely warped the bottom... A mistake I will never live down... Anyway I quickly purchased a replacement but it wasn't the same. After about a year of use the bottom was warped and the inside had a few pock marks in the metal. Just not the same quality... We later purchase a second 5 1/2 qt multi-purposed pot and that quality was lacking as well. Come to find out, the original set wasn't the "Classic" style but the more expensive MultiClad Pro. Eureka! I found the outstanding Cuisinart cookware I've been looking for. This is the higher quality I've come to expect from Cuisinart. I'm buying more as I type...

A year ago I purchased a set of this MultiClad Pro Stainless cookware and have loved it. We are trying to reduce/eliminate the Teflon pans we have been cooking on for years due to concerns over health risks with Teflon. These pans have been instrumental in that. The major issue I had with the set, is that it did not include a larger sauce pan. Now I have this pan and my set is complete. With a family of 7, we needed a larger pan for preparing dinner. Our old nonstick cast aluminum set had a pan this size and we missed it in the interim. These pans are great for most cooking. Because they are stainless you can use metal utensils and scrubbers without an issue. They clean up nicely each time, though with a little more effort than a new nonstick pan (old nonstick never gets clean). With the exception of frying or other high heat cooking methods, these pans cleanup almost effortlessly. For daily cooking of eggs and such I have to use far too much oil in them to make it reasonable, and so have added some ceramic coated skillets to the mix for those needs. These pans are not typical junk cookware that is so common today. The walls of this cookware set are thick and sturdy. The pans heat evenly and quickly. The lids are well made and handles well attached. The quality stands easily up against the Calphalon and and other quality pans that I have owned. They are much better than the grocery store brands and TFal that I have also owned. I do not regret saving some money and choosing these over All-Clad, which was the other option I was considering at the time.

I spent more hours than I want to admit researching and choosing pots and pans. I ordered several different sets including Cuisinart's Chef's Classic 7-piece set and the MultiClad Pro 7-piece set. I ended up returning both and purchased individual pots. If you purchase Multiclad pots individually, you don't end up paying too much more than a full set would cost, but you can choose the exact pans you want. I purchased a 10" saute pan, 1.5qt sauce pan, and 4qt sauce pan and I use every pan almost every day. If I bought the 7- or 12-piece set, I'd save some money per pan, but many of the pans (8qt stockpot, for example) would sit idle. I really liked the idea of getting a saute pan because it holds way more food and is more versatile. I can cook for 2-5 people with the same pan, whereas the 10" frying pan that comes with the 7-piece set can barely make enough for 3 people. It cooks very evenly and like others have said, can be made non-stick with the right preparation. Simply warm up the pan first, then add oil, and once that is nice and hot, add your foods. I made the best crepes I've ever made in this pan with no sticking at all! The look and feel of the pan is also excellent. It's heavy and high-quality, but not too heavy. Also, the brushed stailess exterior with the mirror-finish rim is so sexy, if a pan can be called sexy. I like these so much that I always want to clean them up and they make me happy every time I see them! Get this, it's highly recommended! It's too bad it costs as much as the 5 1/2 quart saute pan :(
