Anti-Theft Messenger Bag – Secure Travel Shoulder Bag with Locking Compartments and RFID Protection

Love his company's products. A bit pricey but well spent money as they are made really well. I like that all the zippers clip onto a loop so that if anyone tries to stick their hand in your bag (getting jostled on a packed train or tram) they can't easily get the zipper open. The material is thick and somewhat water resistant if you get caught in a rain shower. Plenty of room for the bare essentials and the cross body allows your hand to be free. Very good travel purse.

Love this bag! I felt safe. The whole time I had no worries that something would get stolen. It’s so sturdy my only thought at some point was “if someone tries to grab it and run they will be dragging me because this won’t break!”. Plenty of pockets, the hooks on the zippers are a great function. The mini flashlight was super helpful! Very comfortable and roomy.

This is such a nice bag. The quality is excellent and with the additional locks I am going to feel much safer traveling with this bag. It looks nice and is big enough to carry what I need but not too big. I am very pleased and would recommend it to anyone traveling.

I have been using Travelon bags for years. They are well made and give you peace of mind with their anti theft features. I have one that I have been using daily for 10 years and it shows very little wear. I purchased this particular purse because it is large enough to carry whatever I need but not too large so that I would fill it with things I don’t need. That was becoming an issue with my other Travelon purse which I will continue to use when I actually travel. Initially the inside front zipper came out of alignment when I was inspecting my new purchase but it was easy enough to get it working again. It has two no zipper pockets inside. One of which easily fits my reading glasses. There is also an inside zippered pocket and a key strap. The front pocket easily fits my iPhone 14 and has many card pockets which are RFID blocking . I have a small wallet that does that so I use them for little things like toothpicks and mints. The color of this particular purchase was represented as purple but in my opinion it is actually indigo blue. A little disappointing but not a game changer. I am quite happy with my new purse.

Side pocket fits my pistol perfectly. I really appreciate the durability other canvas. The lining is nice material and is light gray so it will be easy to find things :). The clips on the zipper pulls is a nice added extra. Lots of room in the main compartment. I did have to buy a little smaller wallet. Mine was a large billfold type, just a good excuse, it was 10 years old. Very happy with the quality. It lays nice and flat.

Lovely purse for travel with several small pockets and good anti theft feature where the zippers lock. However, it is not big enough for my iPad 10th generation to fit with its case. I also prefer a travel bag with a spot for a water bottle. If I did not require the iPad and the water bottle, I would probably keep this purse. The fabric is sturdy and higher quality than the thin nylon ones. Looks like a very sturdy bag!

Went on across Europe tour, was recommended by a friend, love this bag!! Not too big, not too small! Was able to carry all my necessities plus souvenirs. It felt light weight and very secure. We went to pick pocket capitals and never felt like anyone would be able to tamper with it. It’s stylish and now my new go to cross body!

Note - this review was written last year. This year, 2023, I just couldn't stand the feel & look of the poly material used in the bag & gave the purse to the woman who cleaned our rooms so she could sell it. I used this messenger bag/purse for my European trip in 2022 and found it to be great if not overloaded with stuff. It works for one person, but if your partner tends to give you items to carry in addition to your own, get a larger purse. The only time I had a problem is when I was carrying both passport cases, two padded cloth masks and a couple of other items in addition to my own wallet, make-up, tissues, glasses and tickets. While it's not the most attractive bag with it's drab black finish, it does lay nice and flat against your hip when the strap length is adjusted properly. I added a leather lace with a heart from a Brighton bag to one strap & that gave the dull purse a pretty focal point. The locking zippers work as they should although they do take time and dexterity to lock. I didn't worry about pickpockets or purse snatchers so I guess the purse did what it was supposed to! This is better if you need a purse, not a day pack - if you're using a hotel or apartment as a base. If you need to carry more items & stay out all day, I'd recommend one of the leather day packs that can convert to a large purse. The top opening for the purse is a bit narrower than most. If you have large hands or tend to stuff your purse, find a bag with a wider opening at the top. All-in-all a good product but they need to work on the styling and finish of these bags for a prettier presentation.
