These are very well made, but the directions tell you NOT to put them in the dishwasher; they should be washed by hand (very easily). You should also not use non-stick sprays on them because they cause buildup on the interior surface. They recommend putting a bit of oil on a paper towel and wiping the interior. The directions are well-written and specific. The one disappointment I have is that the set comes with only TWO LIDS, and three are really needed. I am not sure if you can buy extra lids.
