So far so good! Nice little ice cream maker - fun to use, easy to clean, size is perfect for a small batch, and seems to function okay. Ice cream does not set as frozen as a standard ice cream maker, but is still delicious and we just put the leftovers in a freezer safe container for later.

So far so good! Nice little ice cream maker - fun to use, easy to clean, size is perfect for a small batch, and seems to function okay. Ice cream does not set as frozen as a standard ice cream maker, but is still delicious and we just put the leftovers in a freezer safe container for later.

This ice-cream maker works well. The blade does tend to become unattached as the ice-cream mixture freezes, but works better when there is more mixture inside the bucket. I have made strawberry sorbet and frozen yogurt. Both were good, not the same texture as store bought, but close enough. If you eat it right away the texture is better, however if you store it in the freezer after it is made, you should leave it to thaw for about 15 minutes before eating it so that the texture becomes creamy instead of solidly frozen. I store the bucket in the freezer, so it is ready to go whenever we want ice-cream. It only takes about 20-25 minutes to make almost 2 quarts of frozen yogurt. Wish it had a clear lid to see what is happening inside the bucket while it's churning. It is nice and quiet while it churns, and is very easy to clean. Does a good job for the money.

This makes great ice cream. I have only tried the chocolate, great. Vanilla will be the deciding factor. It's hard to get that taste down, most of the time it tastes like medicine to me. The consistency is wonderful (freeze 48 hours). Barely any noise, easy to use, and it is a breeze to clean. The value for your money is wonderful. Ice cream is expensive now. We have Handles and it's pricey.

It works much better than I thought. Some reviews I read gave me doubts. Put canister in the freezer at least 48 hours. Make your sorbet/ice cream mix and refrigerate at least 24 hours. My mango sherbert came out smooth and creamy. Definitly soft serve if you want to eat it right away. I placed it in the freezer for a day before eating it. Came out perfect. Can't wait to try chocolate chip mint ice cream. I'm keeping the canister stored in the freezer so it's ready for use.
