At first I bought the Coleman cast iron griddle. I thought it was really nice. It was heavy so it held the heat really well and it was non-stick. However, it weighed a ton and the slots allowed the grease to spill into the burners so you had to clean after every use. I just returned the cast iron griddle because of the slots and I couldn't be happier. The non-stick coating on here is fantastic The weight is perfect and I have had no issues with uneven heating or anything else. I prefer this considerably over the cast iron.

This griddle works well. I'm able to cook quite a few burgers, eggs, pancakes, and bacon strips in a short amount of time. I also find that it makes the grill much easier to clean as splatter and drippings don't get in the interior parts as easily. I've seen the reviews where wind is an issue but I haven't experienced this yet. With both burners on full heat, it stays pretty hot in light wind.

i do love the griddle, BUT, it does not fit securely and sits too high so you cant close the lid. The griddle heats evenly and cooks very well. i have learned to live with the design flaws and have enjoyed pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon on thd beach every weekend this summer. I wish it would fit better because it cooks so well. It is very easy to clean and store, its very lightweight. i do recommend this griddle, just know that it is not a sturdy fit. I also recommend a wind screen to block the wind as the griddle sits a little high and allows the wind to affect the temperature. Please coleman, redesign this product to sit lower and more securely. It would sell like hot cakes, no pun intended!!!.

This griddle top works great, evenly distributes heat and is easy to clean. My only complain, which is common for all grill/griddle tops for this grill, is that they don't fit very snug and wiggle a bit when trying to move food or clean the surface. That being said, it still works exceptionally well and a lot more even heat distribution than any electric griddle top I have ever used. Would highly recommend for anyone with a Coleman roadtrip grill.

This griddle is awesome!! I love that I can cook a ton of bacon or pancakes or even eggs so that the meal is all ready at same time. When using the other smaller one some would be finished eating before others had started and it to FOREVER to cook a meal. I have only used a handful of times so I cannot comment on how well it lasts but for now it is amazing and very easy to clean up. I will say that if you are cooking large amounts of bacon or greasy foods that the grease trap fills up rather quickly, that is the only downfall so far. Trust me this is well worth purchasing!!

We LOVE this griddle! We bring our Road Trip Grill on every camping trip and with the stove grate option and this griddle we have a full outside kitchen! I have a large 32"L x 18"W x 7"H storage bin to store all grilling assessors and it doubles as an excellent wash basin for them and dishes. I've done so much with this griddle! Pancakes, bacon, eggs, fried onions, cheese steaks, grilled cheese, you name it! So MUCH better than the half griddles where all the grease (or your scrambled eggs...) are allowed to just drip away. The grease catcher is great for reusing or makes it easy to sap up with a paper towel or sponge. Just be sure that your grill is flat or on a slight angle towed the grease catcher so the grease actually goes in it. (I check the flow by pouring a bit of water before tuning the grill on) There really is only one negative to this the griddle it sits too high. Which causes two issues, first you are unable to put down the lid (I use a pot lid to melt cheese and what not. Just not ideal). Second, on a windy day the flame can be blown around taking a longer time to cook things. These issues are minor and are in no way a deal breaker. I recommend getting this to anyone that has a Road Trip Grill, also get at least one stove grate so you too can have an outside kitchen like me!

After buying this griddle we took a week-long camping trip during which we made pancakes, french toast or omelletes and bacon or sausage and hash browns every morning. This griddle is fantastic! Nothing stuck to the no-stick surface and it was a breeze to clean up. The built-in grease catch allowed us to keep our RoadTrip grill spotless, the aluminum made it lighter to carry and quicker to heat up (using less propane), and the size was perfect for our grill. It even fit inside the Coleman carry-case designed for our grill. We're absolutely delighted with this griddle and, for the very first time, are happy to give this product our highest recommendation.
