Fits well as it has an adjustment. Used by a woman with a small adult sized head. Was cheaper here on Amazon than at retail store. The adult version does not have the ability to dial in the helmet so went with kids version after testing out at a retail store. You can't remove the earmuffs but for skiing it was not a problem. Seems like it's safe for skiing. And like having my own helmet rather than renting from ski resort where you do not know if it's been in a crash. It seems to come in a couple of colors. Quality seems adequate. Will be worth it if I ever need it.

Bought this for a 9 year old. Fits great. Good quality. Skied for 3 straight days, one very cold day, two warmer days and the helmet was not too hot, or too cold. Googles fit well over it. I don't have anything negative to say about it except it was a little on the expensive side in my opinion.

Like the helmet so far (just arrived today), seems to fit my daughter fine, the color is awesome but it's missing the helmet bag that was said to be inside. We are using the helmet this weekend so I can't do a return and hope the next helmet comes with the promsied bag. Update: got word back from seller very quickly that Smith no longer includes bags with their helmets. Changed to 4 stars.

I don’t what the price is as you’re reading this but I got my son a size M (8 years old), it fits great and was $30 cheaper then msrp. I spent a tad more for the MIPS system because if he ever got into a bad wreck and got seriously injured because I was trying to save $20 I wouldn’t be able to live with myself. I know that’s an impossible scenario to figure out because who knows how he’d fare in the same wreck with a non MIPS helmet but, to me, the extra money was worth it.
