I have mixed feelings about this blanket. When it arrived, it was super soft and lovely to feel, but had 3 pulls right out of the package. I like to wash new blankets to get any chemicals out, so I just washed it in cold water/gentle then dried on low heat. It lost a lot of its softness, so is now only medium-soft (not scratchy, but not buttery and soft like before the wash). I also noticed two new pulls. Overall, it's a great blanket in terms of quality, especially compared to all the similar ones out there that are scratchy or cheaply made. However, it's very expensive to arrive with three pulls and lose its softness after only one gentle wash. I'm trying to decide whether to return it, exchange it, or keep it...

I use it under a light quilt, which is perfect for Florida nights with A/C. It’s very generously sized - I won’t mind if it shrinks on washing, there’s plenty of blanket to spare
