High quality, long range seems to work pretty well. It has the two prong mic and speaker plug on the side with is good to know because I have mis-ordered walkie talkies before. Small size makes it great for airsoft. overall highly recommend!

We love these for the kids. When they leave the house to play in the neighborhood they take one with them and we can easily reach them and they can get ahold of us, the clip is great to hold onto the kids bikes as well. Holds up to about a 2 mile range pretty well. Also great for hiking, playing around the campground, and skiing on the mountain.

These radios worked way better than I expected. I needed them for a power line construction mission, and they performed perfectly clear audio and good range, even in areas with some obstacles. They’re lightweight, easy to set up, and feel really good in the hand. The materials look high-quality and durable, not cheap at all. They held up great during long workdays. The NOAA weather alerts are also a nice bonus. Honestly, for the price, they’re a great tool simple, effective, and perfect for outdoor or work use. Definitely recommend! Honestly, for the price, they’re a great tool simple, effective, and perfect for outdoor or work use. Definitely recommend! ⚠️ WARNING: Range Drops Suddenly After Some Use ⚠️ UPDATE: At first, these radios worked way better than I expected. I used them during a power line construction mission and they were clear, lightweight, and easy to set up. Audio quality was great and the range seemed solid—even with some obstacles. But after a few weeks of use, they suddenly started losing range. Now they barely reach 500 meters, even in open areas, which makes them unreliable for serious work. Not sure if it's a firmware issue or just hardware degrading too fast. The build still feels solid and they’re comfortable in the hand, but performance-wise, I can’t recommend them anymore if you need consistent long-range communication. Disappointed, because they started off great.

I bought these so my wife and I could more easily stay in touch around our large property. Before, if I was outdoors mowing or doing something else, or she was inside or in her 'She Shed' we had trouble connecting. She'd have her phone on mute or in another room. I couldn't hear mine over the noise, etc. Clip one of these on our belt and problem solved. Nothing else to keep up with, easy to use with gloves on, no swipes or numbers to put in. The call alert is plenty loud and we can reach anywhere on the property. We usually keep them on all day and have no issues with the charge. Definitely the right tool for what we needed.

The range was ok with no obstruction (about 2-3 miles) but barely had any range in town. Battery life is not great. When you put new batteries in it lasts a while but after the first use only lasts 5 minutes.

Loved that the base charges both radios at once overnight. We used it to communicate between two cars on a six day road trip and here's what we found: Good: As long as both cars are close to each other, the clarity is good. For the most part, the batteries lasted for more than 5 hours without needing a charge. The were also simple to use. Bad: Even on the empty road with a clear line of site, I would roughly estimate the range to be less than 1/8 of a mile. This can be troublesome as dealing with traffic (and semis) the range would be shorter and you wouldn't know until you are in the trailing car in a zone with no phone reception, you have to pull over and you can't communicate with the front car (happened twice). Also, at one point, one of the radios decided to stop working and shut off a couple of times out of the blue. This only happened once so we were never able to figure out the root of the culprit. Conclusion: For big road trips it's worth having these with the redundancy of a cell phone. Just ensure you have a plan for any situation and ensure other users are aware of the plan. What worked best for us was to ensure we acted like a militaty convoy, knowing the speeds, distances and planned stops along the route, followed by constant communication for unplanned stops and mitigating highway idiots.
