When we opened the box, we were sure we'd wasted our money. That we'd have to buy another. By the picture, it looks pretty big. The spool though, isn't as big as my hand. So many times when you buy what says 300 ft, the lights are so far apart, you have to scrunch them together to make it look bright and pretty. Not these. They were so easy to put up and look beautiful on the house. The one spool covered everywhere on the roof we wanted. We were able to just roll it out and put them up with ease. They are so bright, and we love the many different options we have. Last year, we had to put up 15 strands of the other lights. When we brought them out, a large portion of the lights didn't work. Which is why I went with this brand. I'll have to wait till next year to see if they'll still be good but, they seem to be a good quality. So I'm thinking they'll at least make it another year. What I'm excited about is not having all those strands to put away. These will just roll back onto that small spool. Our daughter, who put them up, said that even if they don't make it next year, the time they saved her putting them up, makes it worth buying them again anyway. Lol. The remote control is nice, it just doesn't work from a very far distance. Still, definitely worth your money.

I previously wrote a review regarding the strand of lights that we received were not bright at all. After 2 hours of stringing the lights perfectly along the particular areas we anxiously plugged the lights in and immediately got upset because all of that time wasted with trying to make everything perfect with the design layout and then to be faced with lights that were so dim that they couldn't be seen from 1 foot away. I immediately logged onto the Amazon app and went directly to the review section and started a negative rant. This was wrong of me and I know better. After writing the review I then saw where I could "contact seller" via chat or phone call. Of course I thought, Yep here's where the run around begins. Once again I was WRONG. Within 2 mins of pushing the "talk with someone" button a representative was on the phone listening to, diagnosing, and providing a solution to the problem with the dim lights. Turns out that the light strand we had was defective, I wrongfully assumed that the lights were junk dim lights because the price for 330 feet of Christmas lights seemed to good to be true. The representative shipped us out a replacement to which I received the next day. Oh and an important note to this... It was 11:30pm when I was having my problem resolved. (Definitely an extra ⭐ for that one) Next evening arrives and the lights got delivered about 8pm (pretty much same day delivery considering it was almost midnight when I talked to them). Plugged the lights in and YES! We have bright lights just like so many other reviewers wrote about. Got them installed but this time we decided to plug the lights in and keep them plugged in while hanging them so if there's a problem we will know right away instead of what happened last time. We used a staple gun to set the lights along the roof line edges. Luckily we had the lights on because a staple went into 1 of the wires and caused about 6 lights to go out. We were able to immediately tuck that section out of sight and then continued on with the install. Pretty cool that only a few lights went out, every other strand of lights I've used in the past would have caused the entire strip to go out from the staple impact. All went we with the install, I have since ordered 3 more strands of lights (1 for me and 2 for the neighbor). If you are hesitant on buying these lights because the thought of the lights not being bright enough or if it all sounds "to good to be true" I assure you that you will be 100% satisfied with your purchase. It was so nice having 1 long strand of lights with only 1 plug to drag to an outlet vs. 6 strands of lights and a nightmare trying to end all of the strands at the right point to make it easier to plug in. The lights are very easy to install, the wire is like a twist tie meaning it's firm enough to where you can work with it vs. just a tangling limp wire. This helps stay in corners or make turns easier and allows the wire to stay in place. Yes I know! What a long message. I haven't proof read the approve so I apologize in advance for Amy grammatical errors or blah blah blah. Bottom line.... If you're on the fence about buying the lights, you will NOT lose, even if you end up with a defective one (which sometimes happens with electronics). The defective one we had was Not the fault of Ollny or product being poorly made, I'm assuming that mfor than likely a solder weld possibly broke loose during packaging or shipping. Perfectly understandable in my opinion. I wish I would not have written the negative review because Ollny customer service was Exceptional, they truly stand behind their products. By offering solutions NOT excuses. Thank you Ollny team, You earned my business. I will definitely order from you all a few times during the year since you all do lighting for occasions other than Christmas. Take care
