I've purchased two sets of these lights and they've worked very well for the past two years. They are surprisingly bright and the quality is excellent, despite it being a thin wire being stomped on and pulled through rough openings. I have both sets connected to a smart exterior plug which turns them on at sundown and it works great. I will say that the only thing that I initially had a concern with was that the LEDs have a slightly green hue to them - this may be due to the coating that they're wrapped with, seeing as the cable connecting them is green throughout. however, it still looks great at night and I will be buying a third set for next Christmas.

The wire quality, light brightness, and color radiance are excellent. The lights are essentially embedded in the wire and coated in a weather-resistant material so it feels much more durable than the stranded light wires that are more common. Additionally, this is not a light tape which makes it much easier to bend and twist around corners. The remote, even with new batteries, has a very limited range and you have to be pointing the remote right at the receiver for it to work but this wasn't an issue for me. Thankfully, when you set the brightness and mode you want, it defaults to those settings every time it powers on so you can attach it to your own timer like I did rather than using the built-in timer. At almost 400 feet, the length is incredible for the money, but be careful. The reel is not solid and occasionally the sides will pop off. My first attempt to put these lights up ended I disaster after I dropped the reel and ended up with a 400 foot-long rats nest. After that I learned my lesson and put a bungee cord through the center and clipped it to my belt to hold everything together (see picture). Using only two of these reels, I was able to run the entire perimeter of my house as well as the detached garage, cover the arbor, and run the length of my split rail fence. Very impressive.
