This was a perfect gift for a friend! The quality and structure was perfect, and it was big enough to fit an adult! No water leaked out, but definitely use this outside as it’s easy to slash water everywhere while getting inside.

Easy to set up and use. Very durable and holds the cold in well. Good size and easy to move around. Is pretty easy to clean as well.

Wow is All I can say about an ice bath. Very well built and designed. Easy set up, easy drained. No leakage and couldn’t get the ice to melt fast enough. If you have pain, it works. Only thing. Breathe taking.

My son and I have been wanting to use the ice bath for a while now. We received this Sharper Image ice bath and love it. The instructions are very basic, but it was easy enough to set up. Having the drain helps greatly when needing to empty. It also seals very well. The only parts that need to be inflated is the top and top rail. Once assembled and filled, this is very sturdy. I'm 5'9 and 195lb and I fit just fine. The unit comes with a top cover that helps keep dirt out, however it does not fit securely, we ended up putting a piece of wood on top so the winds don't blow it away. I wish it had a drawstring to secure it. That's really my only complaint. We love it.

Review: The Sharper Image Portable Cold Plunge – Freezing My Butt Off Has Never Felt This Good! I never thought I’d willingly dunk myself into freezing cold water, but here we are—and I love it. The Sharper Image Portable Cold Plunge has completely changed my recovery routine, and I genuinely look forward to the daily shock to my system. Built for the Freeze Fanatics First off, it actually gets cold. Some cold plunges struggle to keep temperatures low, but this one delivers. Whether I’m going for a quick dip or a full endurance test, it stays icy enough to make me question my life choices—in the best way possible. Portable, But Sturdy The “portable” part is no gimmick. It’s easy to set up, doesn’t take up too much space, and still feels sturdy enough that I don’t worry about it collapsing mid-plunge. Plus, it’s surprisingly easy to drain and clean, which I appreciate after each session. The Benefits Are Real After just a few weeks, I’ve noticed better recovery, improved circulation, and a serious mental boost every time I take the plunge. Sure, the first few seconds are brutal, but once the endorphins kick in, I feel like I can take on the world. Final Verdict: Absolutely Worth the Chill If you’re even thinking about getting into cold plunges, this is a fantastic option. It’s effective, well-built, and portable, making it perfect for both beginners and seasoned cold therapy fans. Freezing my butt off has never been so rewarding! Rating: 10/10 – Painfully perfect.

- I sort of expected a little better quality for this price... the cover is a super thin nylon(?) sort of material, and the only parts that inflate are the lid and the top ring of the tub. Mine came with a hand pump, so maybe it was a different version from some of the other reviewers? Overall though it's a sturdy enough material on the main body. - The instructions don't say where to put the sealing gaskets, so I just put one between the drain opening and the drain valve. - The lid to the tub doesn't fit on the outside very well as I expected. Maybe it goes inside? But it slides down when empty so I assume it just sits on the water itself. Idk. The instructions are pretty minimal. The video shows it just sitting on top. That would probably work if you have the cover cinched on over it. - The support rods like to fall out if you have to move the tub somewhere (while it's empty of course), so be aware of that. - It's nice that the drainage hose can bend into pretty much any shape you want or need. - Hard to figure out where to put it that won't result in overloaded weight capacity or possible water damage. You also have to account for where it will be able to drain, and how to fill it up easily. It was surprisingly hard to find a place in my home that fit these requirements. Even a wooden deck isn't necessarily rated to hold that much weight in one spot. I ended up putting mine on a covered sidewalk area outside a back door and filling it with a hose. It was a bit of a hassle and took 15+ minutes to fill to the line. I wouldn't want to do this every day, so I'm going to try to just keep the water in there (bacteria shouldn't grow since it's really cold outside right now, but the ice freezing could be problematic. The other bad thing about filling it with a hose is that you can't control temperature as well. You have to add ice or hot water yourself with buckets. - I think it would be better to buy a tub that fits into a bathtub. That way the weight is already accounted for and there is a water source nearby to fill your tub with any temperature of water that you need. - The tub is definitely big enough to hold a person and have the water up to the neck. It might be hard to climb into and out of for shorter people though; you'd want a step stool maybe. The height goes about to my shoulders if I'm sitting down, when I fill to the line. I'm 5'7". - I wish they would say whether it was suited for hot/warm water too. I haven't tried it but I would imagine there wouldn't be a problem with that...? Sometimes it could just be nice to use it as a hot tub when you aren't feeling as brave ;) - All in all a great way to do cold therapy. Preferable to a cold shower, in my opinion!
