So light its ridiculous...yes a little flimsy feeling but hey I'll gladly take that and have it weight nothing. MY gf burned the non stick frying pad the first morning on the trail. But then powdered eggs are a real pita to cook. The pot is awesome, the frying pan is tiny. eggs for 2 will need to be cooked in 2 batches. Yes, the pan does not sit on top snug like you would like when using it for a lid but it will rest up there and seal in the steam just fine. The handles work fine...some whine about them folding up when using....just get a firm grip...your fine.

Several of my friends recommended I look at the TOAKS titanium pots. I am going to be hiking with several younger children so I wanted to get a larger pot so I only had to cook 1 time for everyone. This is a great pot and pan. It heats fast on a canister stove and is strong and durable. I cannot believe how light it is either! This thing is crazy light for being a large pot. This pot is more suitable for cooking for multiple people. This is too big if you are going to be heating water to rehydrate meals for just yourself. I paired this with the folding TOAKS titanium spork and have a great combination. Now I just need to order a TOAKS mug!

I went with this model because the smaller ones were actually more expensive. The size of the pot didn't off put me as I can fill the empty space inside the container with my campware, stove, ignition source, and other small items. The stove itself is very lightweight. It is strong for the amount of material. It can still be bent or squished out of round with enough force as with any item so don't try testing it's durability. The walls of the large pot olive fairly thin. This takes away from the strength but also makes the pots lighter and faster cooking. Titanium has an extremely high heat transfer rate so the burner heats up the entire pan very fast. Not just the bottom. This helps cook food and boil water much faster. I would recommend toads brand products to any campers

Really awesome set. They're light well built and the exact size I was looking for. The pan lid handle is also removable if you only plan to use it as a lid, for a little weight reduction. By the feel of it the handles are stainless steel so they are a little on the heavy side but feel quite durable with weight in the pot. I haven't put this directly over a wood fire and not sure I would recommend it, it's on the thinner side and being that some fires can get up to and over 1000°F, which is close to the annealing temperature of some Titanium alloys which may affect the material strength overtime. If you do use it over a wood fire I would recommend keeping it to the sides of the fire.

Unpleasantly surprised. Pros: Like the weight of the stove. Very light as advertised. Size is great for load out/bug out pack. Good heat distribution. Cons: Handles on both top and base are flimsy compared to my small less expensive esbit cook stove. . I read a review that stated that the lid did not Nestlé very well onto the pan.I completely agree with that review. The lid Billy stays on and seems as if the slightest bump would knock it off of the pot. I now understand the reason for that review. For the price compared to other camp stoves I would have expected a better quality unit other than just to say it is titanium. my is bit stove is way better quality. Just wish they made a larger version.

i have always used SS cookware and love the MSR and GSI stuff. Have held off on the titanium due to cost and the inability to actually cook in titanium. I purchased this set along with the 450 ml and 750 ml mug and replaced all of my SS in my UL pack. This is a well made cook set, and very light. The pot lid is a little small when used as a fry pan and the perfect size for using as a bowl. I found the secret to actually cooking with titanium cookware is to use a stove tamer to help distribute the heat evenly. I actually cooked bannock in the lid/fry pan with no burning by using a stove tamer. I don't use the stove tamer to boil water as I want the water to boil ASAP but for anything other than water the stove tamer is the way to go. Even with the stove tamer this set is a fraction of what the MSR / GSI cook set weighs. I don't regret leaving SS cookware at home and packing a few more goodies to kick up my trail meals.

I have had a chance to use this now for about 6 months on a few backpacking trips and also for cooking food at home. The thickness of this titanium is just like the thickness of a Snow Peak Titanium 450 so it's not as hearty as say the Snow Peak Trek 900 but that's good because it makes it lighter and still very strong. I've cooked in the campfire with this pot over the hot coals and flames. Although the titanium will heat anodize the pan and pot over time (especially if you just heat up the pot or pan without anything to cook in it) it still does not rust or corrode This pot combined with a Clikstand and a Trangia burner makes an excellent backpacking cooking setup for actually COOKING a meal instead of just heating/boiling water. The fry pan works well on low heat for pancakes and eggs and can cook up sausage or bratwurst pretty well on a medium heat setting. My only dislike is that there are no measuring marks for liquid etched or imprinted on the side of the pot. Other than that, this is a good buy and the pot and pan should last for many many years. NOVEMBER 2016 UPDATE: I've been using this pot now for several years and I absolutely love it for backpacking! I've since purchased another one of these in October of 2016 and they now have the graduations marked on the pot!!
