It's a good heater for a medium size room. The internal fan failed in mine after 2 years and I'm trying to get vornado to honor the 5 year warranty it applies to the product. This is challenging. Vornado does not have a functioning call center on the weekends so the call will hang up automatically after recommending the website and spelling vornado veeeerrrrryyyy slowly. The website has an AI sticker so be warned as you should be for any website boasting an AI sticker. AI on a website is just a recipe for 'we fired people and now nothing will work but we have so much money we don't care at all about you as a customer.' Looking at you, Rufus. I registered the product then refreshed to apply for a claim but the claim tab pop-up then asks you to register for an account (which is frustrating, as the upper right corner of the page shows I am "logged in"). So, it commits you to an endless loop with no option to speak to a human who can break that loop. Don't try to file a warranty claim on the weekend is the lesson so far. If I have weekday time during their business hours, I will try again and update if I have information. For my small and medium-sized rooms during Polar Vortex weather when the central heating failed, this heater is noticeably better at keeping a room warm; no frills, but seems more effective than the prettier space heaters at 1500 watts. Takes a little while to get working — maybe half an hour. It was a wonderful feeling, stepping into a toasty bedroom once this got working! Nothing really worked for a 40 ft room when the central heating failed, but this heater would probably do OK in a regular winter. This heater circulates the air throughout a room. I did not find it as effective in my high-ceiling basement when pipes started to freeze, compared to a more intensely focused blast of heat from a Milk House heater. However, my basement is large and drafty. In a better sealed space it might do better. It comes with a warning for hyperthermia — I can imagine that it could overheat a smaller room! As always, be careful using space heaters. I still think this is an excellent space heater. NOTE: this is a big drafty house occupied by cranky old people and little dogs. We LIKE being toasty warm. Also have multiple household thermometers connected to an app in a smartphone for easy monitoring.

works well. pushes more more air than I was prepared for after reading reviews. It keeps a double car garage much warmer. It does have an odor for a time. For me not a big deal given it was in a garage. If I were using inside I'd probably run it on low on a covered outside porch for 24 hours. You probably would not want the burn-off odor in your bedroom.

So the Amazon product description is not accurate. There is no digital readout or remote. Yes and its still VMHi no different than VMH. Find out HMH300 is no longer made. Digital with remote is on the MMHi600. But this is what I wanted as the other Vornado fans I have are digital and cannot work using a smart switch. This one does. Like the others the fan is constant, quiet and so very productive. if you are looing for a fan that has a variable fan that Blows hot air, this is not it. This unit circulates the air continuously and the heat stays on so long as it has not sensed the temp setting you have set. I love these whole room heaters. Yes for sure I recommend this unit
