Absolutely the perfect pack for commuting to work by bike. This fits my built neoprene lunch bag with medium ice pack in it along with rain pants, rain coat, and light jacket in the internal compartment without the hydration reservoir in it. There’s enough space on the outside pockets for an iPhone, keys, and wallet. It definitely reduces sweat on the back and under the should straps. The design is genius. It’s aerodynamic so cuts though the wind like you don’t even have a pack on. The bag is long and more voluminous at the base so most of the weight rides on the hips reducing stress on the back and shoulders. It’s water proof so can be used on Rainey days. This would also make a good pack to bring kayaking. I will be looking for the 18L version next for colder weather commuting where I may need more cargo space. Currently commuting 30 miles per day with it.
