The instruments are pretty sturdy and allowed for a family jam session!! It was worth the price just for The kids to have fun!

The product itself is very fun and maybe better for a kid a little bit older, but is not age appropriate or safe for younger kids. There are several small parts that seem easily able to be broken off and serve as a choking hazard.
