So after listening to a bunch of whiners unable to follow instructions or purchase the wrong sized sealer or bags, I was apprehensive about this unit. I have had several food savers in the past. This product has some versatility they did not. THE PRODUCT WORKS FINE!! Use some common sense, and yes make sure your bag is flat when doing a suck n seal! No is doesn’t matter what side of the bag is up when sealing. Buy the thing and enjoy it!

I have never used it before. Still don’t know why. I have used my boss’s own and it works wonders, so I purchased one for my mom. I don’t think it’s easy for her to use.
