I got these for lighting my 6 snake tanks since I prefer heating pads to lamps so the lighting is for visual effect only. These lightweight little lights are absolutely perfect. I have tried light strips before but they were difficult to install and no matter what I did they just looked tacky and wouldn’t stay up.

Install was fairly simple. I chose to plug mine in rather than hardwire as I’m not particularly versed in electrical work and it wasn’t in the budget to hire out. I used the adhesive that came in the package to stick the lights under the cabinets, and it is holding very well.

After looking at local lightimg store offerings at over $400, and every Amazon offering, I am so happy I chose this one! I did kitchen under cabinet lighting, hardwired it and extensively cut off plugs (to reduce drilled holes to wire width, which is 1/5 of the plug width) and soldered at least 3/4 of the connections.
