I ordered this lamp as it was hugely recommended on Amazon. Let me tell you one thing, this floor lamp is amazing. It stands about 5’ tall and I’m 6’4”. It gives great lighting and looks great in the corner of any room. What negative reviews I’ve seen are on their own. This lamp is a deal breaker. The ONLY negative feedback I can give about this lamp is that the 9 watt bulb is not bright enough to light a room...unless you’re trying to truly get a dim setting focused on one area. I replaced it with a 14 watt bulb from Amazon Basics. World of a difference! And the fact that it only comes in two colors. If it came in a brushed nickel then I’d be screaming. I ordered the oil brushed bronze as a secondary choice and it’s wonderful. It took me 5 minutes to step up (pull the cord out of the base to lessen the length on top when putting together). It seamlessly screwed together piece by piece. I love the toe touch lighting switch. It’s simply wonderful. When they get a brushed nickel I’ll order it again. I love this lamp. Anyone who orders this and negatively reviews it clearly didn’t get the product they thought they ordered. Thank you Brightech. When you get other finishes let me know! Wonderful product.

I LOVE this lamp !!! It was packaged extremely well, was easy to assemble and it’s beautiful. I read other reviews about the lamp before I purchased it and some of them are pretty negative. But I thought I would take a chance and purchase it anyway. Well, I have to say my lamp came to me in PERFECT condition. There were no scratches, nothing was bent and I love the on/off button that you can press with your foot . Because we have this lamp right next to a great chair we love to read in it’s very easy to also turn the lamp on and off from a seated position because the button is placed on the floor right next to the arm of the chair. I am very particular regarding my purchases I check and doublecheck everything and want quality merchandise. This lamp is perfect for what I wanted it for. And the shade makes the lighting in that corner of our living room beautiful. All I can say is I love it I love it I love it and we’ve received so many compliments from family and friends! Thank You!

It's a nice looking lamp, especially for the money. I was a little annoyed that the light/lamp shade is so close to the pole, but it is "as pictured." I guess I just imagined it out a little further. I didn't see a measurement for the length from the pole to the shade, that would have helped :). Other than that, the light is bright enough to read by but warm enough to give off a cozy glow in the room. It looks good with my other more expensive lamps with similar natural style shades. It was easy to assemble and is heavy enough to sit soildly on my wood floor. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

I had a lamp near the chair where I read. In cleaning the floor recently, I moved the old lamp and a bunch of stuff crumbled off the bottom, causing it to lean six inches to one side. So before company arrived, I figured needed a new one, and fast. I was pleasantly surprised to find this Brightech lamp at a reasonable price and with Prime. It fits in with my modern decor quite well. It seemed to be exactly what I needed so I bought it even though I didn’t look around much. Shipping was fast, with it arriving right before the holidays. Putting it together was a breeze-just screw the poles together and done. It has a step to turn on type switch. The LED bulb (included) light throws out enough light to sit and read and looks attractive through the shade as well. Because my bookcases tend to be cluttered, a streamlined lamp is a plus. A good buy, and I’d look for Brightech products again.

I bought two of these lovely lamps, and I could not be happier. We placed one in our master bedroom and one in our guest room. They provide just enough warm light to get dressed by, clean or read in bed without being glarey or obnoxious. The light fixtures themselves are pretty with a simple elegance. They are super easy to assemble- I assembled both myself; placed them in their locations in each room and then recycled the boxes and materials they came in in about 20 minutes total. I highly recommend these lamps if your looking for a warm floor lamp that is both simple and elegant. Plus they are a fantastic value!
