This is my second inflatable Luci light. First one (still working great) is about 7 years old. They are a bit difficult to blow up. You have to squeeze the valve while inflating. My only suggestion: Would love to have a longer valve to inflate and push back into the light chamber so it is out of the way. Little difficult to inflate/deflate because of the short valve.

I picked this solar powered candle up to include in my emergency supplies box so I would have a reliable source of light during a prolonged power outage without needing to depend on batteries. Right out of the package, I was impressed by how compact it is. It looks exactly like the listing and weighs very little, which also makes it great for a backpack or camping gear. To use it, you just blow it up, the material expands and creates a light about the size of a small pillar candle. It gives off more light than I expected, enough to comfortably read or for my kiddo to do homework by. The light has several modes, including a flicker that mimics a real candle and others that adjust the brightness. When you’re done, simply let the air out and press down to flatten it. Charging is just as easy, turn the side with the solar panel up and place it in a sunny spot. I charged it in a sunny window for about an hour, and it provided light all night long. Overall, I really like this little light. My only hesitation at first was the price, as it seemed a little high to me. After checking other similar products, I found this one is competitively priced, so I now consider it a good value. I am planning to get a few more so my family has several on hand for emergencies or power outages.

Ordered this light to keep on board our boat. We are tired of always replacing batteries and love the idea of a solar powered light for some ambience. The fact that it is inflatable so it collapses for storage and inflates with ease is a plus. Anytime you buy something for the boat that floats, that is always a good idea! The only criticism I have is the fact that in order for the light to charge it must be inverted as the solar cells are on the "bottom" of the light. Not a huge deal, but I thought worth noting. The unit functions as an accent piece, not really task lighting, and the battery lasted us for more than 2 evenings on a single charge.
Love these lights! The solar charge lasts long!
