This lamp was very easy to assemble; it didn’t require tools or great strength. It provides light exactly where I need it for reading, doing hobbies, etc. It’s sturdy and stays where you put it; doesn’t slide around or fall over easily. Just don’t look up at it; it’s really bright! UPDATE: I really loved this light while it lasted; it was great for reading and for true-color light for my painting hobby, BUT it only lasted for two years and nine months. Other similar lamps I’ve had lasted upwards of ten years, so I didn’t expect anything less from this one. Unfortunately, I tried everything I knew or could find in reading online, and nothing made it work again. It was never abused, rarely moved around, so I have no idea why it suddenly quit working. Very sad.

I miscalculated and expected it to take an Ottlight bulb, but it doesn’t. Otherwise the lamp was very easy to assemble and operates fine. I don’t have any way of telling whether the light output is actually full spectrum.

I purchased this to replace an identical lamp I’ve had for many years, it works great, easy to assemble and produces a lot of light right where I need it. The cost is reasonable for the long-life bulb (included) and durable construction with metal stand. Neat and trim in appearance, can blend into most settings.

I bought this lamp in October 2023 and just now the bulb is starting to flicker so I am back on this page to buy a replacement bulb. I used this lamp every single day (maybe minus a total of 15 days), so this is about 2 1/2 years of daily use. I am a watercolor artist and use it as my main light over my desk. I’ve been perfectly happy with it so will give a 5 star review.
