We got a 2 year old Akita/shepherd mix (60 pounds) from a local shelter and bought a bag of Iam’s dog food and he really disliked it barely eating at all during the day. So we bought Purina one, and he loved the meat chunks so we bought a bigger bag because he enjoyed it. Then after feeding it to him for a month he has constantly itches and had runny stools the entire time. Trying to find him a better dog food, we came across this blue Buffalo with meet chunks and after a bag came from Amazon, he couldn’t stop sniffing the box! He loves the food so much he stopped eating the Purina one in favor of this! We give him about 3 measuring cups of food one or twice per day, and some days he only cleans his bowl once in the evening depending on how hungry he is that day. So the 40lbs Purina one lasted us closer to 2 months, so I expect to order these 24lb bags about every 4-5 weeks. He loves this food and it has helped with his itching (sometimes itching can indicate low quality diets) and he no longer has diarrhea every day like he did while eating Purina One. The bags are 24lbs ($101 with tax) vs 40lbs for Purina one ($65 with tax). So this food gives you 40% less food for 1.55x higher costs ($4.20/pound vs $1.50/pound) but it’s worth it in my eyes for him to have a healthier diet that makes him less itchy! I will be a customer every month!

We have been feeding Blue Buffalo to our two standard poodles for a few years now. Expensive food but we choose to pay the freight as it were. Kibble can tak warm water for a softer food and pooches do not seem to care.

Changing to blue buffalo was the best thing I could do for my little guy. He wouldn’t eat no matter what I did. So I decided to change dog food. Better quality ingredients. He loves the taste no more picky eating. Definitely a better value than buying it anywhere else and it get delivered right to your door. Happy Health dog. He has No allergic reactions.
