With everything going on in the world right now I wanted to have a way to cook if something happened. I came across this Coleman Cascade Hickory stove. I like that this stove is adorable and compact. This one burner has a aluminized steel cooktop that is easy to clean. The burner also fits up to a 12 inch pan which allows you to cook a good amount of food at one time. The knob is easy to turn so that you can control the burner and temperature perfectly. I really like that I do not need matches or a lighter to light this stove. It turns on because of the Ignition. I like the color of the stove a lot. This burner will allow you to cook for 2.5 hours using the propane tank that is 16 oz. You will need to buy the propane tanks and replace them. We have used this burner a few times when camping and it has worked great. I like that I can be outside cooking while the kids play. It allows me to not have to be stuck inside making food. This is a great stove I definitely recommend it.

I got this about a month ago, and absolutely love it!! Took it with us camping and used it! We loved it. Cooks food great on it. We also had it at our house and used it when we had a power outage due to a storm. It was great having it here for that. We were still able to make and eat dinner. Definitely recommend this!!

I took this on a several-week trip and, since I had my 9-year-old and a pup with me, I liked that it was a flatter camping stove – less chance of our tea or dinner getting knocked over. Great option when there are kids around. However, the only thing I would like to mention is that it took a lot of clicks for it to light.

I love the size of this camp stove, it’s the perfect size to pack up and go. It’s not large and bulky and fits in a backpack easily. It has a smooth and lightweight design to it. It’s very easy to attach the propane tank and get started on whatever you want to cook. I fixed everything from eggs and bacon to just boiling water with this stove.

The little burner that could! The ignition is effortless and matchless. It is super light weight and easily packable. The surfaces are easy to clean. I’ve utilized this product from my apartment patio to out in the wilderness while camping. I’d highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a durable, light weight and sturdy single stove.

This stove is simply the best single burner stove I have ever used. It’s not gimbaled, so it might not be suitable for your yacht, and it’s too large for a backpacking stove, but if you’re camping out of a vehicle, the Cascade 18’s burner/heat control is wonderfully infinite in it’s ability to adjust the burner flame. No wind blocking baffles? Improvise. No case or carrying bag? Improvise. This stove’s wide square base and large grill surface make it very stable. But it’s really all about the beautiful burner/heat control. With this stove you’ll be able to set the exact heat for whatever delicacy you choose to prepare. I initially bought a Cascade 3-in-1 two burner stove, and it’s perfect in all respects, but the single burner Cascade 18 does it all for me. And it’s smaller and lighter than the 3-in-1.

What a thrill it is to have this Coleman CASCADE 18 STOVE PPN HICKORY MOSS C002 to help me out. A helpful extra burner is what this is for me. I’m able to have an extra burner now for my pressure canning and water bath canning. The stove works fabulously for helping me can my vegetables and meats. You’ll be extremely amazed at how well this Coleman Stove works even with a little wind. This will be amazing to have if things go badly in our country. Happy Camper! Thank you!

This stove is great it heats well, is compact, and is easy to use. I do wish the grate had a clip or something so it didn’t slide out of the well when it’s time for storage, but that is minor. We have it in a Plano box we use as a mess kit so once it is in there it’s pretty secure. The only suggestion would be to put the knobs for the gas and the sparker on the same side. It’s a little too wide with them on opposite sides to neatly store away. Otherwise I think this will be a great addition to our camp gear. We had no issues with the flame flickering in the light breezes we encountered. It seems that as long as you’re not cooking in a head on wind it would do well. Cooled down quickly, and packed away neatly. Thank you Coleman for offering American made products that are well built.

I love this stove. Used it to warm up tamales, cook eggs and a steak and boil water for pasta.

It works, does the job I need it to do for simple one pot cooking. However it does have some flaws. Coleman, in this modern day outdoor gears. You need clever simple design and engineering. 1) Knob turning will always need finer adjustment rather than relying on cheap graphics. Every piece is important to the entirety, the Stover pressure regulator shouldn’t be an afterthought. 2) Needs better stability grates. 3) My biggest upset is not providing a hardcase for transportation and for stowing. 4) Needs a solid secure placement to hold down the store pressure regulator. (Hence hardcase)

This is a great little stove, perfect for more slimmed down car camping trips or just use in the backyard/tailgating. Setup couldn’t be more straightforward, both the burner control and igniter are very easy to use. My only complain is I wish it came with a little bag or something to pack it away in. The rack that holds your pan and the valve for the propane tank are loose pieces , and it would be nice to pack them away.

I don’t know where to begin with this Coleman grill- it’s been a lifesaver since we got it! Not only is it slim, so it fits in our camping bag, but it’s gorgeous! The vintage green is just so pretty. It’s still lightweight while being powerful enough to cook a full meal for 2 steaming hot! We especially liked the fact that it cooked evenly. This is for sure a must for any avid camper like us, or just for safety if the power goes out during a storm, it’s awesome!

I used this propane cooking stove outside for camping and it was amazing! The stove cooked my big burritos and tortillas easily and we cooked for 2 and a half hours. My family couldn’t believe the stove lasted that long! This is the only time I’ve ever boiled tea or coffee outside for camping. My family enjoyed our camping trip so much, especially the food we cooked in our stove! Definitely recommend!
