I think there should be six places to attach it instead of the four it has. It gets twisted and bunched up underneath especially when it rains or is windy. Water also winds up collecting between it and the tent where it would normally just seep into the ground. It is also very thin. Probably better off getting a heavy-duty tarp.

Works as you think it would. Pretty straight forward. Only complaint is that for the price of these tents one would hope this came with the tent instead of having to buy it separately

Custom fit for core tents, has bungee to attach to corners to keep in place. After heavy rain, area between tent and footprint was dry except a little around edge
