This is good to load up my gas cans for the ride over to the station, and I hope it will be good for carrying around a bag of soil to catch potholes as I mow. Not much more is expected, so there should be little disappointment. It takes a little thinking to assemble, but it’s not too difficult. On arrival, the nuts and bolts were missing, but Cub sent some right away. The “stow” mechanism is a threaded bold with a nylon wingnut to keep the shelf in the folded position. This is pretty archaic engineering, and a developed upgrade will find its way through my shop once the weather warms up. For a hundred bucks or so, it’s a worthy accessory. Go ahead, if you’re thinking about it. Just don’t expect it to haul a load of cinder blocks. It’s on an XT1 Enduro LT50 FAB.

I purchased this attachment for our Cub Cadet XT2 42 as helper on the yard. The yard has a decent size and the attached helps to carry around stuff. It comes in a flat box home, weight about 26 pounds. The original name is “Cargo Carrier with Hitch Bracket assembly”, Article 19B30029100. Assembly is simple. At first the fast attach assembly is put together. These are three parts put together with some nuts and bolts. Then its a good advice to to put it on the tractor on the fast attach. Latch it. Then you attach the support bracket and finally attach the cargo carrier. This is all. The cargo carrier can be folded up to safe space. With the fast attach its quickly changed to some other attachment as the bagger. I like the fast attachment since it makes the tractor very versatile to use – just attach what is required.

Looks sturdy and well built. Instructions are not the best but with help from the illustrations it was doable. Biggest issue is missing hardware, namely bolts and nuts. And calling Cub is a lengthy process with long hold time. You need the model and serial number from your mower before a claim can be processed, along with the model of the accessory and so on so be prepared. I’m still waiting on my hardware package 6 days since I reported it missing. Like so many others I considered going to the hardware store to buy bolts and nuts but that is ridiculous and poor quality control from Cub. The box and packaging was unharmed so it was shipped without all the necessary parts. This is well documented in reviews.

Looks and works great. I did have a couple of missing bolts that normally wouldn’t have been an issue but they were specifically for the fit I notified Cub Cadet and they shipped replacements right away. I use it for an eight gal 12v sprayer

Some people said putting it together was a hassle and missing bolts. I find it hard to believe. I think they just don’t follow instructions. This carrier is very well built and sturdy. I had no problems putting it together. Parts WERE all there. It is simple to put on and take off my cub cadet xt1 42” tractor. Folds up nicely when you don’t need it, without taking it off. I am extremely happy with this purchase.
