I have seen other reviews saying they only got the insulation sleeve, my order came exactly as the product description. It came with the insulating sleeve, hydration bladder, and tube that connects to the bladder. I did not have any issues with the tube coming undone from the bladder, it locks into the receiver. I also bought the Artic insulated tube since these will be used for winter sports and have had no issues with it as well. Very happy with my purchase so far.

I really love this bladder and use it daily. It really does keep water cold on hot days, is durable and rugged, and best of all doesn’t make the water taste like you are drinking out of a hose, something I’ve never encountered before in water bladders. The top folds like a dry bag, and you have to fold down the outer sleeve to fill it, something that takes a little more effort than a Camelback, so you have to do it a few times before it becomes routine. The reviewers who complaining about water leaking out when you attach the hose with a full bladder of water seem to forget that this will happen with any bag, and makes me wonder why anyone would do such a stupid thing anyways. I am mostly satisfied with mine, and would buy one again, especially if they used more appropriate colors. My one and only problem with this bladder is the bite valve. Though it functions perfectly, for some reason they chose to use turquoise blue, a color I hate and one that does not belong in the wilderness. It draws my attention while hiking, and clashes obnoxiously with my outdoor surroundings. I’m having problems trying to find replacements that will fit since the tube is a little wider than most. If not for the bite valve, I would give it five stars. But turquoise blue with otherwise low impact colors? what were they thinking?

Honestly the best system I’ve ever used. It has a slight (unavoidable) taste on the first run through. Not a foul taste by any means though. Nice flow rate and adjustable to boot! No leaks. Nice and sturdy. Having the wide opening for filling as well as flipping it inside out for the top rack of the dishwasher is an absolute delight. No more mold or mildew with hard to clean areas! Kept my water cool all day long. By cool I mean chilled (had the bladders themselves in a chill bag with ice on the way to the trail head)! Definitely not for the ultralight folks out there unless they want a little luxury at the expense of a few grams. I didn’t notice the weight difference from previous bladders at all. Absolutely thrilled and looking forward to more adventures with this awesome piece of gear.

A definite must for a hiker who likes to keep both hands free while having easy access to hydration. Sorta had a hard time opening the hydrapak as the opening was sealed tight and I didn’t want to break it. Very easy to use and assemble. No leaks The only thing is cleaning is a bit annoying. Easy to clean, but drying; I had to use my hair dryer on cold air setting to get the inside dry, after using a paper towel thay didn’t get all the water droplets. My hand did fit into the opening so I was able to wipe down the whole area inside but my hand is size small to medium. So people with larger hands might not be able to fit their hand in the opening. Can’t wait to take the hydrapak on a hike.

Used this for wildland fire this year and was disappointed with the build quality. It says it’s made to be rugged but the stitching for the outer bag came apart within a month. The cap for the hose didn’t stay on very tight so anytime I used it it was covered in ash or dirt. I take good care of my equipment so this was under medium load. would not recommend for any heavy use. the good things are that the insulation works and keeps cold water pretty cold, and the flow from the hose is good. kinda disappointed for the price but it does its job. three stars

Bought for hiking trip in a hot humid climate. Held ice very well and water cold. Easy to use. It is a bit more bulky than non insulated ones but having cold water the entire hike was well worth it.

An overwhelming taste of plastic that rendered the bladder useless…I’ve had others where there is a slight taste of plastic, but this made the water, imo, undrinkable. The insulated sleeve works fine and is well made. I’ve gone back to my Osprey 3L bladder. As I sit here writing this review, I can smell the plastic from across the table.
