I purchased these for my daughters room, and she absolutely loves them. They look good, hang nicely, and have good color. Have yet to launder them so not sure how they will hold up, but I think they will do nicely. NOT see through.

It’s so beautiful with my theme in my room. My room has a nice warm feeling. I had also . the bedding to match a while back so it looks really great in my room. I love it.I do recommend his product..

This valance looks great with the matching curtains (sold separately). Beautiful pattern. The complete set sits nicely on a dual curtain rod assembly. The curtains do not filter out all the light from outside. If you want to keep the sun out altogether, you'll need to purchase and adapt a liner for the curtains. The valance trims the curtains perfectly. No need for a liner on the valance if you install full length curtains.

I really do love these curtains; I love that they match our bedding set and have given us a feeling of “completeness” for our bedroom. They match in length fortunately. Unfortunately, they did smell quite bad. I had to leave our windows open and spray febreeze to try and dissipate the smell but it’s still slightly lingering. It’s not a great smell. Hoping that it quickly disappears so we can enjoy our room even more! Not really looking forward to sleeping in here tonight. I just think they need more time to air out. I did order other curtains from a different brand that also slightly smelt bad but it could’ve been that I put them in the drier with these curtains. The smells were similar! UPDATE: I seriously couldn’t take the smell anymore so I washed them heavily in Gain detergent and I’m so happy to say that they do not smell at all now. Thank god.

I would not consider these drapes to be room darkening as packaged because they are unlined and the upper section, constructed of the solid red faux silk fabric which is too translucent to do more than diffuse light. I purchased the drapes merely to acquire the fabric from which to make insulated Roman shades and upholstered cornices to coordinate with the previously purchased comforter set. The 50" width was perfect; each panel was wide enough for the the face of the shade plus the wrap around. The cornices required seaming at the corners but the pattern repeat worked well with the measurements of the shades reducing waste. There is plenty of fabric left over for lamp shades and throw pillows. The fabric takes a needle well, although it is prone to snags, but the added loft from the insulation and lining highlight the shimmering silverish threads woven into the fabric itself. Overall I am very pleased with both these drapes and matching comforter set, when combined with the dark wood of my furniture, I got the rich, sumptuous look I wanted for my bedroom. A far cry from the "light and airy" look that everyone else wants these days. Only painting and baseboards left to do before I can set up the furniture and have my room back. [Sigh] But only after the electrical issues are addressed. Four outlets are plenty for the bedroom, said no one ever, at least no one in this century. [Huge sigh]
