This is a really great little pot. It's a bit bigger/heavier than my 500ml cup, but it's so much more versatile! How it collapses is perfect and makes it so much easier to pack than a comparable size pot. It seems high quality and really well made. I'm looking forward to future backpacking trips with this guy.

This little pot collapses and disassemble for ultra packability. To do that, it uses silicone for part of the side. You can't expose silicone to direct flame, it won't handle that well, though it is highly temperature resistant. This pot is best used over a small camp stove with the flame adjusted so you are only exposing the bottom metal surface to direct flame. Now, the weight savings on this are pretty marginal, and the price is pretty high. Volume saving in your pack could probably be equalled by using a cheap, regular aluminum pot and filling the inside with other items. So, is this pot for you? I think that really depends, but it's specialized and there aren't many scenarios where you have to have it.

This pot would be perfect for 1-2 people. It's very lightweight and seems to be well-made, as is most Sea to Summit cookware. I have a backpacking trip coming up in September that I'm excited to take this along and use it on. It collapses easily and is pretty compact. It weighs 7.04 oz (approximately 200 grams), which is a little on the heavier side for ultralight backpacking, but then again, it is a 1-liter pot that would easily work for 2 people. I probably wouldn't bring this on a solo backpacking trip, though. This is a little thing, but I love that it's orange. It will make it easier to find in my pack vs my little forest green pot that blends in with everything. When collapsed, the handle keeps the lid in place. While in use, the LidKeep feature allows you to clip the lid onto the side of the pot so that you have a safe, clean place to store the lid while you're cooking. I really appreciate this feature. I stumbled upon it by accident while messing around with the pot, and came back to this listing to see that it is an intended and thought-out feature. Very cool. All in all, I like everything that this little pot has to offer. Its features are well thought out and useful. It seems durable and like it is built to last. It would be perfect for camping and short backpacking trips. I can't wait to take it along on my next adventure!

Really like this pot. collapses down to nothing. Aluminum lid, top rim, and bottom provide the substance. Clever stowable handle that  is substantial but still weight-saving. Diameter fits just right on a Jetboil or similar. the 1L capacity is enough for 1 or maybe 2 people. I prepared a 14.5 oz can of a vegetable side packed in liquid with room to spare. I like that the instructions are printed on the bottom so you don’t throw out yet another printed booklet. A couple of things to note: getting the handle off was a bit of a struggle as the spring-loaded catch is firm. You have to push the latch and at the same time lift the handle straight up with no real purchase for your fingers. I got the hang of it but it could use some refinement.  Handle clicks into place just fine. and putting it back is no trouble. You cannot use this on an indoor stove because it needs a smaller-diameter burner otherwise the flames climb up around the sides and will melt the silicone.  I would really hesitate to use it on a wood fire unless it was on a grate WELL above low coals and off to the side so the silicone doesn’t melt. This is really just for a backpacking stove. the lid has no holes for a strainer. it’s only 1L but you could still boil a bit of pasta for 1 if you wanted to so those holes would come in handy. It’s currently $74.95 on Amazon right now. This seems very pricey and I would wait for a sale if you can. Maybe Prime Day!

First off I and my husband are in our mid 60's. We like to camp in the Boundary Waters. To camp in the area it has to be packed in, by water/Canoe and foot. So, we are always looking for ways to lighten up the load. This 1 Liter pot (~4cups) is a great way to have a nice pot that is collapsible, light and will work for our stove. The Sea to Summit pot ticks all the boxes. The gray areas of the pot and lid are made with anodized aluminum, a nice and efficient way to quickly heat something up in the pot. We have other pots made with the same aluminum and it's nice that we don't waste much fuel to heat up the pot. The orange on the pot is a food grade material that has flexibility in it, so we can squish the pot down for went packing up. Does it retain heat for a long time, no (maybe tops for 15mins until it gets luke warm and the lid has to be in place). But if you are backpacking your stuff in, you tend to make what you need to eat or drink and use it right after its ready. Easy to clean, yes. if you do have a strong curry dish or over cook the meal, I would suggest letting it soak with a bit of soap and water, maybe heat the water up a bit to cut the heavy seasoning or crusty stuff. As in the picture I have, it's on a portable stove, I found that to insure that it does not tip over while cooking , I will line up the handle with one of the legs on my stove. It keeps it from wobbling. Setting up and pack down is very easy. The instruction on how to flip the handle is on the box edge. I suggest you test it out a few times before taking it out on a trip without the box. The handle also helps to keep the lid on nicely when packed down. The pot it self just pops up with very little pressure given to the inside pot bottom. I really do like this pot and can't wait to bring up to the Water in May. The light weight of it (7.02 oz on my scale) is a bonus. They say use for one person but with this pot along with a 2 L pot works great for the two of us. Also, Sea to Summit brand is our go to brand when we are up grading our kit.
