As far as its usefulness it’s absolutely worth it, I’ve gotten some great sleep with the oils included and just being able to breathe better in the mornings (especially when I was pregnant) it’s pretty quiet, but good for white noise if you need it. The size is fine, but for our little room I do wish it was smaller. It does take up a lot of space. It is however easy to assemble and refill, just make sure to empty it every morning to avoid mold
