This should be paired with a set of gator blades. Fit 42″ Cub Cadet great. Shoots a little grass and leaves out of the front right but it works and easy install.

The only difficult part of installing this was loosening the bolts holding the blades. There was a small metal bar that was leftover that the guy in the video didn’t put on, so don’t worry about that. The blades appear to be not sharp at all, but that’s just paint they put on the edge for safety and it’ll wear right off in use. I went over big piles of leaves, so started on the highest deck setting, and worked my way down to 2.5” after a few passes. A few leaves still get blown out (same as with bagger), but it reduces the bulk of them to practically powder. -wear a dust mask. I’ve read some reviews saying the mulch plug didn’t fit. Mine fit like a glove. Fantastic product! I highly recommend

This word well enough for an add on kit. Handles grass clipping well. Not effective on fall leaves, its just too much, but can use these blades with the bagger to back the leaves.
